Disabilities and Carers

Disabilities, and Carers

Disabled customers and their carers are welcome at Outfield Festival and our staff will assist you as best they can to enjoy the day. Please be aware that the event is being held on a grass cricket pitch and although flat, some areas may be hard to negotiate particularly in the event of poor weather conditions.

Carers
Free carer tickets may be issued at the organisers discretion and must be sought in advance. Please note that these are specifically aimed at carers attending with someone that has a physical mobility issue requiring significant support throughout the day and needing to use the disabled viewing platform/toilets.

Carer / PA tickets are linked to the lead ticket, they are non-transferable and cannot be sold. The carer ticket is provided on the expectation that your carer is willing and able to assist you throughout your festival visit. Free Carer / PA tickets are not allocated to parent / guardians of children under the age of 18. There will be a dedicated area in the family area as a "time out space" for children.

Free carer tickets will not be available on the gate. Carers must be 18 at the date of the festival. To apply for free carer ticket, please provide proof of disability in any of the following forms :-

•    The Access Card (or equivalent);
•    a DLA/AA/PIP award letter (not a Christmas bonus letter);
•    a letter from a medical professional;
•    D/deaf or blind registration;
•    Blue Badge.

This should be emailed to tickets@outfieldfestival.co.uk

Viewing platform
There will be viewing platform for Disabled customers. Please be aware that this works on a first come first served basis, although we anticipate being able to accommodate all who need it. Please note the platform is a NO SMOKING area, this includes e-cigarettes & vapes.

Toilets
There will be disabled toilets within the viewing platform area for the sole use of those with viewing platform wristbands.

Disabled Parking
There are a limited number of pre-bookable disabled parking spaces.

Sound and Light
Please be aware that the festival will be using stage lights which may include strobe effects. Although the event will be working within regulations set by law and environmental protection, some customers may find the noise levels more than they are comfortable with.
